95-97/100 RVF :  Impressionnant. Le charme habituel du cru est au rendez-vous, avec une admirable définition et des tanins précis en finale. L’ensemble est particulièrement digeste et équilibré. Il est promis à un bel avenir.

95/100 Decanter : Sweet blackcurrant fruit on the nose, softly jammy and expressive. You can really feel the ripeness here, grapes got full maturity and this is plush, mouthfilling and plump with chewy tannins - more opulent and perfumed than others also with more power and body. Tannins are mouthfilling and you get the stone minerality and the Cabernet freshness that really takes over giving this a sense of tension and grip. A really characterful and expressive Pauillac where the tannins and acidity perfectly compliment each other with the muscular and concentrated fruit also giving a multi-faceted dimension. 95/100 JM Quarin : Couleur sombre et profonde. Nez très aromatique, fin, au fruité pur et mûr. Moelleux en entrée de bouche, gras au milieu, puissant et savoureux, le vin glisse au palais, juteux, noble et profond. Longue persistance avec beaucoup de goût. Tannin enveloppé.

96-97/100 James Suckling : This is really cool to smell, with lead pencil shavings, iron filings and oyster shells. Blackcurrants, too. Full to medium body with layers of firm tannins, but a dusty and powdery texture, too. Lovely finish. 67% cabernet sauvignon, 25% merlot, 5% petit verdot and 3% cabernet franc.

93-94/100 Le Figaro : Le deuxième millésime fait dans le nouveau chai est d'une précision cristalline au nez, avec une touche de fruits noirs et bleus purs. Taillé pour la garde, il s'enroule autour d'un noyau serré et sombre, une boule de minéralité rocailleuse et de graphite, sans pour autant cacher une certaine tendresse.

93-95/100 Parker : The second vintage vinified in the Caze family's new winery, the 2021 Lynch-Bages unwinds in the glass with aromas of minty cassis, sweet berries, loamy soil, black truffle and cigar wrapper, framed by nicely integrated new oak. Medium to full-bodied, concentrated and muscular, it's a serious, layered, powerful, youthfully structured wine that will come together beautifully with maturation in barrel.

96/100 Terre de Vins : Sa robe encre à disque grenat est un préambule : pour l'heure, une certaine austérité, beaucoup de tension et de concentration sur un bouquet de griottes, de fumée, ourlé d'effluves de tubéreuse et de lilas. Tanins denses, d'une grande fraîcheur, s'arrondissant à l'aération. Assurément une longue garde.

Martin) :  The 2021 Lynch-Bages, picked at 34hL/ha and matured in 75% new oak for a planned 18 months, has an outstanding bouquet, beautifully-defined and sensual, a mixture of black and blueberry fruit, very fragrant. The palate is medium-bodied with grippy tannins, good body and density, quite precise with a tensile finish. This fans out nicely on the finish. A very classy Lynch Bages with echoes of Jean-Michel Cazes' classics from the late eighties. 13.14% alcohol. Drinking Window 2027 - 2055
